Return Policy

Canal Furniture takes every step possible to ensure your orders arrive in the best condition possible. All shipments should be inspected upon delivery, and any claim should be made within 24 hours of receipt of the merchandise.

Orders that are not confirmed by the customer within five (5) days of purchase may be subject to a 9.5% processing fee. This fee helps cover payment processing, administrative, and order management costs incurred while reserving inventory. The fee may be deducted from any applicable refund or charged before order cancellation.

Items that are not damaged are subject to a 25% restocking fee, the original shipping cost to the customer, and the cost of return shipping to our warehouse. Notification of a return must be made no later than 24 hours after receipt of merchandise and must be approved before processing.

Items must be in their original packaging for a return. Orders must be approved by a manager to be returned without the original packaging.

All returned products must be undamaged and in original condition (not used, not installed, and with all original packaging materials included). Once an item has been assembled, it is no longer eligible for return. Repack products for return in the original box using the original packaging materials.

These orders will have a minimum 25% restocking fee, plus the original shipping cost to the customer and the cost of return shipping. Approval for these types of returns will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the product and manufacturer.

If a customer requests to return an order within24 hours of receiving it, and it remains in its original packaging, there will be a minimum 25% restocking fee (depending on the manufacturer), in addition to the original shipping cost, return shipping charges, and any assembly fees.

Please note that cancellations after the customer has confirmed the order but before the item ships are subject to a 9.5% transaction fee, which covers payment processing costs. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Should a customer request to return merchandise after delivery for reasons including, but not limited to,  no longer needed, no longer wanted, changed mind, or accidental order, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges as well as the original shipping charges paid by Canal Furniture.

Product photos provide an approximation of the product's color. Actual colors may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting conditions, and manufacturing variations. If a customer wishes to return a product due to color variation, they will be responsible for all applicable restocking, shipping, and return fees. Merchandise must be in its original delivered condition and must not have been assembled.

A storage fee of $250 per week will apply if delivery cannot be completed as scheduled. Storage fees will be invoiced weekly and must be paid prior to final delivery. If no one is available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, the customer will also be responsible for transportation and re-delivery charges.

Special Orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

Shipping and assembly charges are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for repackaging and return transportation. Returned items must be shipped back to Canal Furniture in their original packaging with no signs of use, wear, or damage. Upon receipt, Canal Furniture will inspect all returned merchandise and reserves the right to approve, partially approve, or deny any return based on the condition of the returned items.
